Alcohol and sport have strong connections in Australia and many local clubs sell alcohol as a revenue source and to support the club's social activities. Irresponsible alcohol consumption at your club, however, can cause personal harm, impact on your club's brand, turn off members, sponsors, and supporters and result in unwanted penalties.  

It is critical, therefore that your club work to put in place responsible alcohol management policies and practices to create welcoming and healthy family friendly environments.
